Abstract

The method involves encoding a data packet of a burst with a coding procedure and combining and transmitting the data packet with a code word protection sequence into a burst. The burst with the data packet of higher priority class adapts an encoding with higher redundancy. The burst is resolved into burst-parts, where one burst-part is duplicated. The burst-parts are combined with the duplicated burst-part for a new-burst part. An independent claim is also included for a product e.g. a network node for executing method for transmitting a data packet.
