Communication Platform
In this project, an appropriate communication platform for Nexus is investigated.
We assume that
mobile terminals can use access networks of different technology, such as
cellular networks or wireless LANs. An objective is to optimize the communication
platform such that mobile terminals use the best available access network.
Therefore, access network selection methods will be developed, which evaluate data
obtained from a world model.

Security and Privacy
Regarding user acceptance of future systems, security and privacy are of great importance. In this project mechanisms to protect the user's privacy will be developed. Moreover, a framework will be investigated to give users the possibility to evaluate statements of different information sources, e.g., replies of different spatial model servers, from a subjective trust point of view.
